A single car accident on Delaware St. injured 2 people today. The driver apparently lost control of the car and first hit a sign then went into a telephone pole. The accident happened near the parking lot for the Underwood Medical Center. Crews from Engine 1711 and Rescue 1718 assisted the EMS squad with the victims. Crews also de-energized the vehicle and cleaned up the debris.The injuries appeared to be minor to the woman driver and her child.
